RATL recorded one track but, together with all the other artists, appeared incognito. The contributors were asked to channel an early 80s, DIY vibe when considering the output of their make-believe band.

The project was devised by Jez Stevens who said:

“A list of fictitious bands was drawn up and each name was given to friends and favourites of The Burning Trestle.

“Each artist was asked to record a new piece of music in the guise of their new persona.

“Who created what is a closely guarded secret – even the participants don’t know who did what.’”
